Grand Shimano Ride is the first Road Cycling Event in the Grand Shimano Series. Aimed towards recreational road cyclists, it was participated by more than eight hundred (800) road enthusiast and mountain bike alike. Held in Cavite on September 2017.

 

Grand Shimano Ride promotes recreational road cycling activities and promotes fun and enjoyable riding for athletes, small groups and families. Grand Shimano Ride is classified as a Gran Fondo, where in cyclist ride long-distances in a large group and cycle marked routes.

 

The race started at 5:30 in the morning with two categories 30 KM and 60 KM by age group.
